Caroline Jennings
GARP Artist in Residence Caroline Jennings is a professional artist, writer and historian currently based in New York City but driven by wanderlust and a longing for open and silent places. She was educated in history and literature at Smith College, Vassar College, and the New School for Social Research, and in painting and printmaking at the Memphis College of Art. . Her paintings, narrative and sometimes politically motivated, are shown and owned internationally, but her best writing is generally kept in a desk drawer. As well as being GARP’s resident artist, she is also the team’s Arabic speaker and small finds paper expert. 2010 is her third year with the project. e-mail Caroline   BACK |
