David Thorpe

David Thorpe tells East Anglia about the latest discoveries
in the region's First World War archaeology, June 2006.

David Thorpe is a professional digging archaeologist who has excavated in the US, Israel, Syria, Crete, Libya, Malaysia, Germany, China and Jordan, as well as in the City of London and on many other British sites. He currently directs the Copped Hall Trust Archaeological Project (excavating a Tudor mansion) and, jointly with Neil Faulkner, the Great War Archaeology Group (with projects in Britain as well as the Great Arab Revolt Project in Jordan). His TV appearances include Channel Four's TIME TEAM, Channel Five's BOUDICA'S TREASURES REVEALED, and BBC2's TIMEWATCH.
